About Us

IOconnex is an Electrical and Automation contracting company based in Brisbane, Queensland and was established in early 2010. Since then they have become well known for their unmatched attention to detail, constant communication, efficient planning and completion of work and their desire to see the customer 100% satisfied with the end result. With these qualities as the foundation of the business IOconnex has continued to expand due to most of their work being received through recommendations from past customers.

Isaac & Rachel started the business together in 2010 shortly after getting married. Isaac is a qualified Electrician and has experience in a wide scope of electrical work and always enjoys a challenge. Rachel is a qualified Physiotherapist with a particular motivation towards Women’s Health and Pilates. Their family has also grown with their daughter arriving in 2012 followed by two sons. They attend a local church and love being a part of the community together with other families. In their spare time, they love walking, riding, laughing and spending time with friends and family.

As the Ollington Family has continued to grow, so has the business. In early 2015 Matthew joined the team, followed by Brendan in 2017. Now as tradesmen, they have both become a vital part in delivering the expert service that IOconnex has become known for. Our apprentice, Samuel, provides valuable assistance and is learning the skills required to become quality tradesmen. Isaac looks after all the organisation and communication with the customers to ensure every job is done well and within the required time frame. Rachel takes on numerous roles during each day from accounts & admin to the biggest of all – mother of 3. IOconnex now has three vehicles enabling widespread service across the south east corner of Queensland.

Keeping up to date with all the safety requirements of the electrical industry is important to provide safe installations to all our customers. Being an accredited Master Electrician and a member of the ECA, IOconnex, has been proven to meet these requirements and have procedures in place to ensure all installations are carried out safely for both the electrical workers and all others involved.

IOconnex has been working closely with Beacon Lighting for the last 8 years and is a registered Beacon Lighting Preferred Electrician. This means we can offer great pricing and advice on all Beacon Lighting products. On top of this Beacon Lighting offer an additional 12 months warranty on top of the standard warranty on all their products if you use a Registered Preferred Electrician.
